How to reach Muroor (Traffic Office), located in Murabba, Riyadh

I would like to renew my Car Registration and would like to know the location of Muroor in Murabba area in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  How can I reach their office? Can you describe the route?

Two Easy routes

Route 1
If you want to reach Muroor (Traffic Office) located in Murabba area, then the best way is to get in to the Olaya street.  If you are in Olaya then you have to travel towards Bhattah.  In between you reach a Junction where Lulu Market and Arab National Bank are located on opposite sides.  After this junction you have to go straight towards Bhattah and at the signal take a U turn and take a left turn just before Arab National Bank and find the office of Muroor at the second inter-section.

Route 2
You can also reach through other street known as Dabbab Street.  If you are on Dabbab Street and travelling from Olaya to Bhattah.  Then you will find Saudi Chamber of Commerce (Gurfae Tijaria) on the left side after you cross this landmark you have a traffic signal and at this junction there is a BMW Showroom.  After you cross this traffic signal, take second right and after second junction take left and you will find Muroor Office.

Role of Traffic department

The Traffic department comes under the public service departments.  The responsibility of traffic department is huge and they have to do many tasks diligently.  They are to make sure the instructions of the superior authorities are being following to be best of their ability at the lowest levels.  They also issue various circular and directives according to the traffic law and its amendments.  They also are involved in the registration of the vehicle. They also involved in the issue of driving license.  It is the important function of the traffic department to issue driving license. They also do the checking of the regulations compliance. They also make sure that the Car dealer follows the regulations as prescribed.  The exporting and the scrapping of the cars and their record keeping is also an important function.  They also prepare the estimated annual revenues and expenses of the department.

They also involved in the collection of the traffic fines.  The major role of traffic department is to make sure that there are less traffic accidents and if they do happen then to handle them adequately. They also should be in a position to provide with the accurate statistics of the departmental contribution.

Traffic department the world over has similar functions.  The traffic departments also have liasoning with the various other social organizations in celebrating traffic day or traffic week.  They also do lot of public relations so that the people understand the problems of violation of the traffic rules.  Most of the time violation of the traffic rules will result in the accidents and the loss to the society and to the country.
