I am using E72 Nokia mobile and
had been using it for more than a year.
I also used VOIP for calling my home in India. But recently I am unable to open my VOIP, whenever I try to open it I get this message “This
phone do not support G729A/AMR Codec.
You may restart the phone and try again. Application will now exit.” I have tried every thing but could not
succeed. How can I remove this message
and activate my VOIP ?

The system of dual card is helpful for people who are frequently travelling to other countries. The mobile phone can avail the facility offered by the telecom companies. Most of the telephone companies offer prepaid services and postpaid services. Under the prepaid services the user of the mobile will have to pay the money upfront and get the credit in his account so that he can use the balance to call other numbers. Whereas in the postpaid service the number is allocated to the user and the user can make calls through his mobile phone and he will be charged usually on a month to month basis. People who are working for business organization will usually have the facility of monthly billing.
However individual who are not paid for by the organizations will prefer to have a prepaid facility as this will allow them to control their costs. The SIM pre-paid card usually has validity and usually when the validity period expires the user may not be able to use the card. The customer may have a balance in his account, but still he will not be able to receive or call his associates. In order to check the balance in ones SIM account the telecom companies ask its customers to dial certain numbers so that they will be able to get the exact balance in their account. Each telecom company has different system of operation. SIM card is very important and it should not shared with others. Many people have got into trouble as the SIM card had fallen into the hands of the terrorists. The telecom companies due to increasing in competition are offering various schemes to the consumer. However the advent of internet has put many of the telecom companies in tight position. The internet has created much other type of companies which offer VOIP services to its customers. The customer by enrolling with those companies are able to make free call to their friends, relative and business partners. VOIP calls have helped the customers in saving their money, whereas it has caused huge losses to the telecom companies.
