Historical Background of CBSE

There is a trail of developments that mark the significant changes that took place over the years in shaping up the Board to its present status. The first board was put up in 1921 as U P Board of High School and Intermediate Education. It was under the Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior.

CBSE is a very good pattern and it is followed similarly throughout India.  It has also helped the students in other parts of the worlds.  The Indian school who are affiliated to CBSE follow similar pattern around the world.  This helps the NRI’s and PIO’s gain the education by joining their children in the CBSE affiliated schools. The central government employees including the military personnel are frequently transferred from one place to another place and in the absence of CBSE education their children will find difficulty in understanding the local language of the state and usually will not be interest in learning local language every one to three years of time.

Due to demand the CBSE pattern witnessed rapid growth and expansion at the level of Secondary education resulting in improved quality and standard of education in institutions. A child of a parent who has to leave India and go to a foreign country will usually find it difficulty in getting the right education in the absence of CBSE pattern.  Many foreign diplomats find the CBSE schools a boon for the education of their children.   The pattern allows a child to develop him selves or her selves so that the person becomes a good contributor to the society and to the country.  India is a vast country with different states, different cultures, different religions, different languages and different dialects, in such a country the CBSE pattern has helped in binding the people together.
