How do I change my Google Account Password

I am using google account for my emails, recently I disclosed my password to one of the sites asking my details and they are able to access my account.  Can you advise me how can I change my Google Account password?

If your password is disclosed to any third party it is always better to change your password and it is quite simple.  Since we do not change our passwords, we are not very much familiar with it.  To change your password, please follow these simple steps,

Click as if you are about to sign-out, you will see Account and privacy.  Click on Account, this will take you to Accounts page,  then you click on the security tab. then click on change password option.  This will provide you three tabs, asking your current password, new password and confirm new password and once you feed the necessary details your password will be changed.

A password is a word or characters used for user authentication to prove identity or access approval to gain access to a resource.  The password should not be disclosed or made public and it should be kept confidential. The moment a password is made known to other chances are that the resource will be stolen or mutilated.  Historically passwords have been used even before the advent of the computers.  It was used even in the criminal world.  Now days due to advent of computers, we find the system of password in our day to day life.  

A person in order to enter his office will need a password and at the time of exit also he may be required to feed his password.  Once in the office if he is starting the computer then he needs to have a password.  If he want to get into his email account then also he need to provide with his password.  So almost every aspect of our life password has become a necessity and it is becoming quite difficult to remember our passwords.  If we want to draw money from ATM then we need to have a password.  Without password we cannot draw the money from ATM.  Nowadays it has become common for us to have an account to access information or to have online transactions and this again will require a password.   Even to read our daily newspaper or magazine we need to have an account and a password. A good password has many characteristics. 

Many people often forget their passwords as they have different passwords for different resources.  Sometimes it is difficult to retrieve the password.  The other important requirement is a user name the first requirement may be the user name and then comes the password. We should use the memorable passwords. Some resources have specifications of passwords which will make us difficult to remember.
